In the midst of the bright and beautiful stars in the sky,
A candid thought came to his mind, asking him why.
Things sometimes happen the way they are not expected,
Which to some may hinder the beating of one’s heart, when neglected.
It all happened when he met somebody,
An instance which was not even cared by anybody.
Except the lovely girl whom he began to love so dearly,
A love with warmth and affection felt by them so sincerely.
But alas! Something different happened,
Which could make anybody’s heart to harden.
An equally beautiful and lovely girl crossed his way
An instance which made his innocent heart beat, anyway.
Everything in his life changed, since then.
Nobody was spared, not even his (girl)friend
Her memory will soon just be recorded as “past”
Blame it to the world which moves so fast.
To him, what matters now is his present situation,
With the equally beautiful and lovely girl to whom he gives utmost devotion
With her, the world seems brighter and more beautiful
Life with her is indeed more colorful and wonderful
A poem that I wrote in high school. :)
